Camberley & District Horticultural Society's Wharf Road allotments has currently 46 plots with 44 tenants. The site has been a statutory allotment under the meaning of the Act since the Second World War when it was established probably in response to the Dig For Victory initiative. The site will very much be a 'take us as you find us'. Please watch your footing as you walk around.
You will find free standing structures, raised beds etc. It will provide an insight into various methods of gardening from open plots with pathways between standard rows of plants to fully structured and protected cages with soil/weed management systems (and how good the gardener is). Your assistance in nominating to the site rep at the gate, after your walk round, the plot you consider worthy of an award will be appreciated.
