1 Sayers Close

Ours is a small garden, with the back being twice as wide as it is long – quite an awkward shape to work with. We have also planted up the ground along the side of our plot, and of course the front garden hosts a rosemary bush, aptly named ’Frimley Blue’. But be warned – this is a garden under construction. Over the winter our trusty old shed gave up its life. This has just been replaced by a new shed sited over in the far corner – better placed as it is not in full sun as was its predecessor. This now releases what should be a bright sunny spot for breakfast and elevenses.

What now follows is the making of new paths and patio, removal and building of raised flower beds, and general refurbishment not to mention the best bit - new planting – an espalier of figs or apples perhaps? Agapanthus, chinese lanterns, Crocosmia, Echinacea, tomatoes, blueberries, rhubarb, artichokes … But come what may, you are very welcome to visit our garden, give us some ideas and meet the Rambling Rector, Jacqueline du Pre, the Comte de Chambourd and le Docteur Jamain
