One of the village's oldest buildings (link to history below), its main horticultural feature is an ancient walnut tree. Laid mainly to lawn, with surrounding shrubs, the garden contains a large swimming pool, so be careful with small children. There are a few shallow steps but the gravel drive will be a difficulty for wheelchairs.
New owners Karen and Phil ( March 2007) are currently engaged in trying to bring some more colour to the existing garden and have pruned some of the older trees and shrubs to ensure their longevity, have introduced more pots and kept the vegetable garden going. The garden is therefore work in progress and already results are showing after work on the very old apple tree resulted in a fantastic blossom this year.
