At the front is a simple Japanese garden with a Feng Shui theme. The back is 35' square, designed for year round interest and easy maintenance by replacing the lawn with shingle. Only created last year, it has already proved to live up to this ideal. There are a number of features of disguise and illusion, room for comfortable outdoor living, and many interesting small details. Planting makes good use of the varying conditions of sun and shade. Not suitable for dogs or small children, and please walk on the paving, not the shingle!
